The M.A.M offers visitors the chance to reconstruct the natural history of the Madonie Mountains through species that are now extinct, but also to appreciate their present-day beauty.

The museum was founded in 1990 thanks to the owners' passion for the Madonie and especially for its natural environment.
The collection of various specimens from different taxonomic collections have found their way into the various dioramas, which reproduce real snapshots of natural life.
The tour unfolds inside several rooms of one of the oldest baronial palaces of the Madonie.
In each of these rooms, a natural environment has been reconstructed from the different altitudinal levels of the Madonie Park, from the sea to the high mountains.
Thanks to the guides' careful explanations and the visitor's imagination, a real excursion into nature is possible.
