From the base of the dolomitic amphitheater of Monte Quacella, among beech and holm oaks, to the discovery of the 30 remaining specimens of “Abies nebrodensis” (Madonie Fir), unique in the world!
After crossing Piano Grande, we will reach the summit of Monte San Salvatore (the second highest peak in the Madonie) from which to admire the splendid panorama. Curated by Vittorio Lo Mauro, Geologist and AIGAE Guide
We then continue to Piano Iola and descend along the opposite side of the Vallone Madonna degli Angeli within a dense beech forest.
